Citizenship by Investment Dominica

Launched in 1993, the Citizenship by Investment Dominica Programme offers individuals and families worldwide an irrevocable second citizenship and passport in as little as four to six months, without the need to visit the country. The Caribbean island nation enjoys an excellent international reputation, so much so that the Commonwealth of Dominica passport allows visa-free access or entry on arrival to more than 115 countries worldwide, including the entire European Union, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Russia, Brazil and Hong Kong. The Dominican citizenship by investment programme is enshrined in law, and as local law does not place any restrictions on holding dual citizenship, obtaining a second citizenship by investment in Dominica is a confidential process that does not require a person to renounce their existing citizenship.

The Commonwealth of Dominica’s citizenship by investment programme not only does not require residency, but also has no language, age, business experience or education requirements, and there is no mandatory interview. An economically secure country with a parliamentary democracy, Dominica enjoys one of the highest standards of living in the Caribbean, levies no taxes on non-residents, has the lowest crime rate in the entire region and is arguably one of the most natural places in the world with lush green mountains, countless pristine rivers and waterfalls and stunning white and black sand beaches. Best of all, the Commonwealth of Dominica offers the most affordable citizenship programme in the world, with serious second passports starting at just USD 100,000.

UPDATE: The cost of citizenship in Dominica will remain unchanged until at least 2021. The Caribbean citizenship programme’s investment criteria was previously expected to increase significantly, with the minimum price of a Dominican passport rising by 75% to USD 175,000. This significant cost increase has now been postponed indefinitely, although prices may rise again once the COVID -19 pandemic is over, so we encourage you to act quickly.
